Director of Operations – Mike Brandon.
Mike has built the Gretna High School program into one of the best in the state with six appearances at the state tournament in the past seven years, including a pair of runner-up finishes.
President – Gwen Egbert.
Gwen is the head coach at Doane University and had an outstanding high school coaching career at Papillion-LaVista and Papillion-LaVista South High Schools. She was named the Lincoln Journal Star Coach-of-the-Year in 2002 and 2012 while earning the Omaha World Herald honor in 2003.
At the high school level, Egbert posted a record of 700-223 with six Class A State Championships, including titles each of the last three years. Her teams also took runner-up honors on seven occasions. Egbert’s squads made the championship game of the Class A Tournament in 13 of their 17 appearances.
Prior to the start of her coaching career, Egbert played volleyball at the University of Nebraska under Coach Terry Pettit. She was a member of two Big 8 championship teams. She was selected a team captain her senior year and was named First Team All-Big 8. The team also made their first NCAA National Tournament appearance that year, going 1-1 in the tournament. Egbert is respected nationally by the best college coaches and has earned a reputation as one of the premier developers of talent in the country.
Vice President – Gina Chambers.
Gina had a very successful playing and coaching career at Nebraska Wesleyan, where she is a member of the school’s Hall of Fame. She is currently an assistant coach at Norris High School.
Secretary – Jessica Fauss.
Jessica was the head coach at Omaha Westside in 2015 after previously being an assistant for the Warriors. In 2016, Jessica took a teaching job at Elkhorn South where she is the junior varsity coach.
Treasurer – Alyssa LeGrand.
Alyssa coached Bellevue West to the Class A state championship in 2006 and prior to that she was an assistant for five years for the T-Birds.
Legal Liaison – Brittany Behrends.
Originally from Beatrice, Brittany played club volleyball for Nebraska Juniors and went on to become an All-Conference player at Creighton University and an All-American at Wayne State College. Brittany later graduated from the University of Nebraska Law School.
Coach Liaison – Jake Moore.
Jake recently retired as one of the most decorated high school coaches in Nebraska history after guiding Lincoln Pius X to a state-record 20 consecutive state tournament appearances. His teams played in nine state championship matches, winning seven of them.
